About Dr. Vanessa A. Thomas
When Vanessa thought religion was enough, Jesus encountered her and showed her she was on a path to Hell. The ominous words Jesus spoke in Matthew 7:23, “I never knew you” echoed through her soul as she realized she did not know Jesus, she only knew of Him. Jesus, the Good Shepard, said the sheep know His voice, yet Vanessa could not recognize His voice even while reading the pages of the Bible. She was lost. Suddenly, Vanessa saw herself very far down a path that was supposed to lead to heaven only to realize it was the wrong way. The vision was interrupted when she heard Jesus say, “turn around”. In that moment she went from eternally lost to forever found. Turning from trusting in religion and good morals to trusting in Jesus was the difference between life and death.
From that day forward everything changed. It would become her life’s pursuit to know the Shepard’s voice and help others know His voice for themselves too.
In 2020, when the world collapsed into darkness and deception, God, in His mercy, showed Vanessa the landscape of the spiritual battle just outside the grasp of our natural senses. Her son was very ill at the time and the Lord set her and her family on a new path of healing and deliverance that resulted in her son’s complete physical healing. Like dominos, one by one, God healed each of her children of the various health challenges they faced, miraculously. Vanessa had her own powerful encounter where God healed her and delivered her instantaneously in a power encounter.
Jesus has anointed Vanessa to set the whole family free and called her as a prophet to the nations, along with her family, as priests to make intercession by the blood of the Lamb. Before all else, Vanessa is a daughter of her Heavenly Father.
Vanessa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of California Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. As someone who has always had a great love for understanding the physical world and problem solving, the Lord has used Vanessa’s knowledge and understanding to navigate the tension between the physical world and the spiritual realm and be a Hope Solution-ist in this last-hours era where spiritual warfare is waged against our bodies and souls via modern technology, biological agents, vaccines, and the inundation of chemicals on top of the moral issues of sin and the breakdown of the family.
Our fight is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. Our fight is truly a fight of faith, for faith, to step into the spiritual reality that we are a royal priesthood and a holy nation through adoption to sonship by the stripes of Yeshua the Messiah. Vanessa is a teacher and preacher of the Word of God, a vessel that carries the blood of Jesus to the nations, and one who equips parents and children in healing and deliverance to step into their kingdom authority. The answer to every challenge of this life is found in the power of the blood of Jesus and the wisdom that comes from God alone.
