We Are A Family First
The Thomas’ are a family that has learned the price of following Jesus is costly, but He is worthy! Having navigated brokenness in their marriage and sickness in their children, the Thomas’ believe for marriages restored and children healed by the power of God. Jesus is the answer to every problem no matter how big or impossible it appears.
God’s original blueprint for the church was not an institution, but a family. And within each family, God starts by calling one individual to step into His plans and purposes so many can be free. As God began to do a deeper work in Vanessa, the fullness of God moved into her whole family. The Thomas’ know that God has a special plan for every family, children included, to walk in their unique destiny, purpose, and gifting as last-days saints.
As families are restored, the church shall embark on her greatest mission yet: Jews and Gentiles together as one in Christ. The Apostle Paul tells us that we should “provoke the Jews to jealousy”, meaning we are to live in a way that honors God, His word, and with a deep understanding of the Law and the Prophets. There are many prophecies yet to be fulfilled regarding the salvation of Israel, the great tribulation, Jesus’ 2nd coming, and New Jerusalem. We study and teach the Word as “watchman on the wall” and “wise virgins”: ready, awake, filled-up!
Vanessa and Alex and their four children are creative and adventurous, filled with wonder, joy, and love for Jesus. They love new food, music, dance, reading, writing, and exploring the world, believing the best days are still ahead of us. The Thomas’ reside in Middle Tennessee, USA, a place they deeply love.
