Prophetic Intercession
What Is Prophetic Intercession?
Praying With The Holy Spirit
Prophetic intercession is simply put, prayer led by the Holy Spirit. We can pray the scriptures, for things we want or need, or for things that are in agreement with the word, and while all of this is very good, we can be praying without communing with the Holy Spirit. Prophetic prayer is about fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and praying what is on the heart of God. As we go to the nations and intercede for peoples, governments, leaders, and geo-political issues, we cannot lean on our own understanding, but we must step into the will of the Father by praying in step with the Spirit, in the Spirit, and by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:25-27
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”
Matthew 18:18-20
“Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Testimonies of Prophetic Prayer
Below are several testimonies of how God moved mightily in the nations as we stepped into prayer in faith with the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 17:20
“…”For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.””
Luke 1:37
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
In June of 2025, while in Israel, the Holy Spirit led us to pray on the Temple Mount. We were drawn to the place where the Ark of the Covenant once stood. Our children, filled with the Holy Spirit, began to pray for the Jews to be able to come to the Temple Mount again and for the land to return to them. It was a powerful moment on Mount Zion.
Two months later, in August of 2025, for the first time in nearly 2,000 years, large groups of Jews were permitted to openly pray, sing, dance, and blow the shofar on the Temple Mount. This was an unexpected, monumental shift in history! Jews had not been allowed to freely pray on the pinnacle of Mount Zion since the second temple period.
When we traveled to the Temple Mount, we were required as tourists to first pass through an IDF search and asked to leave behind any religious material including books, clothing, flags, and jewelry which had to be kept in a locker before entering the area. All of this radically changed in a matter of months! Not only can Jews can now come and pray but they can bring written prayers, prayer shawls, shofars, etc. Greater and greater numbers of Jews are coming to pray boldly on the Temple Mount, something that had been forbidden for centuries.

Ahead of traveling to Israel, the Lord asked us to go to France. We arrived with one clear assignment: go to President Macron’s residence, Palace Elysee, and pray for him. We were burdened to prayed for the government, the people of France, and wells of revival to spring forth in the nation starting from the President’s household, but truly our greatest burden was the immense love of the Father for Emmanuel Macron. We prayed for his heart, his salvation, and for the Lord’s favor and goodness to be upon Him.
As we left the Palace, we wondered why there was such urgency to pray for the President. In the days to come we continued to pray for him all the way to Israel. Our children continued to lift him and his family in prayer.
When We arrived in Israel and the war with Iran began, the central figure making the headlines next to Benjamin Netanyahu was Emmanuel Macron. At this time tensions were running high regarding France and Israel due to France leading the world in an effort to form a Palestinian nation. Macron had scheduled UN talks in New York in the coming weeks to discuss the creation of a Palestinian state with Saudi Arabia. Many believed that Macron would use the war between Israel and Iran to further fuel the demonic agenda to break apart Israel. However to the world’s surprise, Macron took a strong stance in support of Israel’s right to defend itself. Macron condemned Iran and the Palestinian state talks were postponed. We were astonished how the LORD strategically positioned us in Paris ahead of the 12 day war with such urgency to pray for the French President.
While we realize the overall position that Macron has on Israel has not changed, the Lord shifted his heart and the nations in a critical moment that altered the outcome of the war and brought protection to Israel and stability to the Middle East by his support of Israel. His support of Israel was key in leading the response for the rest of the pro-palestinian nations. Our God is truly El Shama, “the God who hears” us.
Join us in praying for Emmanuel Macron to repent and turn to Jesus, for the nation of France to experience an outpouring of the Holy Spirit bringing repentance and the refreshing of God.

In our last day in Jerusalem, after a long day in the old city, we finally made it back to our car in an outdoor parking lot. It was late and we were exhausted. We had just finished praying for several people at a restaurant where the Holy Spirit fell and the Spirit of Prophecy came upon me and we witnessed signs and wonders and we became a sign and a wonder to those who witnessed the events of that night. We were amazed and filled with wonder!
As we were loading up the car I began to tell my husband, Alex, that something was welling up in me and I felt like I had more to pray, but I didn’t know what. It was a physically uncomfortable feeling, like there was something I needed to let out of me. I moved away from the car and began to pray and walk the empty parking lot. As I prayed I began to shout with all my might, with dire urgency, and with tongues, and in power. I called forth with a loud cry, for the release of the blood of Jesus, shouting, “I release the blood of Jesus! I release the blood of Jesus! I release the blood of the Lamb!” I felt the power of God and wept many tears.
The silence of the night contrasted against my voice that echoed loudly through the hills of Jerusalem and I felt a bit unsure by what just came out me. In that moment, I didn’t even know if I could pray that way, yet it was the Holy Spirit praying through me. I felt at peace and the feeling that had welled up in me earlier, relieved.
I did not understand exactly what I was saying in the statement, “I release the blood of Jesus”, as I had never heard that said. I wondered, “Can I release the blood of Jesus? Have I done something wrong, Lord?” But it was divine preparation. In three days time the war with Iran would begin, missiles firing daily, and the blood covering of the Lamb of God is what Israel needed. God had called me to Israel to pour out the blood of Jesus over the land. It sounds almost crazy, yet this is our testimony!
We left for Israel so fast we had no time to prepare or study the geography or really where we were going each day as we had to press forward each day even without having all the details. Once the war began, we looked back at our location that night and realized we had parked on the side of Mount Zion.
Nearly a year before going to Israel I received a prophetic word that I would stand on Mount Zion and blow the trumpet of the Lord, and that was exactly what took place!
